A laughter-filled journey through the 1950s, '60s, '70s — and beyond.
A Broadway veteran takes your audience back to school bells, Sunday dinners, car fins, party lines, record players, and the everyday moments that shaped generations. Not a history lecture — a living memory, performed.
70 Years and Beyond is a warm, funny, keynote-style program created and performed by Broadway veteran, master storyteller, and nostalgia keeper Wambui Bahati.
Wambui creates the feeling of a front-porch conversation with someone who was there — personal, inviting, and full of heart.
From rotary phones to TV dinners, girdles, party lines, and three-channel television, audiences laugh out loud at how much life has changed.
The program brings people back to the memories, music, family rituals, and everyday moments that still live inside us.
A taste of the humor, the warmth, and the stage presence fifty years of Broadway built.
Conference audiences don't only need information. Sometimes they need a shared experience — something that lightens the room, opens conversation, and reminds people of who they are and where they came from.
For those who lived it, the program brings back the joy of saying, "Yes — that's exactly how it was." For those who didn't, it opens a vivid window into a time before instant everything.
Wambui Bahati is a storyteller, actress, author, and nostalgia keeper with more than five decades of creative and theatrical experience. She trained at the New York University School of the Arts and performed on Broadway in Godspell and Jesus Christ Superstar, and on national tours of The Wiz and more.
Her work spans theatre, television, national tours, one-woman shows, speaking, writing, and digital storytelling. Today she brings those gifts to programs that preserve memories, spark laughter, and keep the stories of older generations alive.
With warmth, humor, and stage-tested presence, Wambui creates the feeling of sitting with someone who remembers — and who knows how to turn those memories into a room full of laughter, reflection, and connection.
"She opens a door to our memories and invites us in with laughter, love, and truth."
"It felt like she was talking right to me."
Give your audience more than a presentation — give them a joyful trip through memory, music, laughter, and the moments that shaped generations. Wambui replies personally, usually within a day.
